| Create this! |
![]() |
| Start with a cheap artist's canvas from a craft store |
![]() | |||
| Use a pencil to trace the largest of the squares. For a 24" X 36" canvas I made 6"X6" squares with 2.4" horizontal and 1.5" vertical spacing |
![]() |
| Line the interior of each square with painter's tape. |
![]() |
| Do this 12 times. |
![]() |
| Start painting the outside of the squares. I used acrylic paint. |
![]() |
| Color in the insides of each square with neutral colors. |
![]() |
| Peel off the painter's tape. Look at those crisp lines. |
![]() |
| Color in the areas that the painter's tape covered. |
![]() |
| Color in the interior squares and add a little dark paint around the edges. Voila! |
